Closet World

-In progress

By creating unique furniture solutions tailored to the individual it's only right that the Closet World website reflected this brand ethos. Closet World recognized the need to modernize its digital presence to enhance user engagement and improve conversion rates. As the Lead UI Designer, I played a pivotal role in the website's redesign, collaborating closely with the UX architect, copywriter, development team, and key stakeholders to deliver a refined and highly functional digital experience.

Choosing our Components

Creating a cohesive and scalable design system was a top priority. I spearheaded the development of Closet World's style guide, which became the foundation for visual consistency across all digital touchpoints. This guide established a modernized color palette that aligned with Closet World's brand identity while improving readability and visual appeal. Additionally, a refined typography system ensured clear hierarchy and legibility across different screen sizes. I also designed a set of UI components and reusable design patterns to enhance consistency and efficiency in the development process. By meticulously defining these elements, the style guide not only streamlined the design and development workflow but also ensured a seamless and cohesive user experience

Building a Foundation

Once wireframes were approved by stakeholders, I transformed them into high-fidelity UI designs, maintaining brand consistency while enhancing user engagement. I designed intuitive navigation structures to improve usability and product discoverability while enhancing call-to-action buttons and conversion paths to drive customer interactions and sales.

Applying the Finishes

Refining visual hierarchy and whitespace utilization created a more modern and inviting user interface. Through an iterative process, I worked closely with the UX architect to ensure that each design decision aligned with user needs and business goals. Accessibility and navigation tools were carefully placed to help our users experience the Closet World website in a unique way.

Using Data to Drive Decisions

To optimize the user experience, I leveraged heat maps, session recordings, and A/B testing to analyze user behavior and make data-driven improvements. This approach allowed us to identify friction points in the user journey and implement solutions to reduce drop-off rates. We optimized key conversion pages, resulting in increased lead generation and online bookings. Additionally, we enhanced mobile responsiveness based on user interaction patterns, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices.

Conclusion

By developing a robust style guide, applying refined UI designs to wireframes, and leveraging user behavior analytics to drive iterative improvements, this project exemplifies the power of collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and strategic design in creating a compelling digital experience.
